Tackling the tough issue of domestic violence

No brief challenges you more than one with raw emotion driving its outcomes, and domestic violence was one of those briefs that makes you think long and hard before you even begin the creative development.

The brief of supporting victims to seek advice and help when they most need it was a tough one, but one we tackled with a campaign called Let it go!

Focusing on the concept of a red balloon, the campaign used iconic but subtle imagery to showcase the power of releasing your emotions and talking to someone about domestic violence.

The additional extra within the campaign was the phone number of a support line printed as a barcode on an everyday item (pocket tissues, lip balm) in order to remain hidden from an abuser.
